Vegan Caesar Salad

This Vegan Caesar Salad is a delicious and healthy alternative to the classic salad. The salad is made with fresh romaine lettuce, vegan Caesar dressing, croutons, and vegan parmesan cheese.

For the salad:

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, washed and torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup vegan croutons (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup vegan Parmesan cheese (store-bought or homemade)
  • Optional toppings: vegan bacon bits, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced avocado

For the dressing:

  • 1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Aminos
  • Black pepper, to taste
  1. Wash and tear the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Nestle them in a large salad bowl.
  2. (Optional) For homemade croutons, cube vegan bread and toast them in a skillet with a little oil until golden and crispy. If using store-bought croutons, have them ready at hand.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the vegan mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, capers, CÓCOES Vinegar, CÓCOES Aminos, and black pepper. 
  4. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the romaine lettuce in the bowl. Gently toss.
  5. Generously sprinkle the toasted croutons over the dressed romaine.
  6. If desired, amp up the flavors with optional toppings like vegan bacon bits, halved cherry tomatoes, or avocado slices.
  7. Sprinkle the vegan Parmesan cheese on top, then serve.
