Seared Tuna in CÓCOES Roasted Sesame Dressing

Succulent tuna, expertly seared to perfection, meets the rich, nutty flavors of our signature roasted sesame dressing, creating a harmony of taste and texture. Each bite offers a symphony of savory sensations, leaving your palate craving for more.

  • Fresh ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Aminos
  • ½ cup black and white sesame seeds, roasted
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

For the roasted sesame dressing:

  • 1/3 cup Japanese mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup roasted sesame seeds, ground
  • 2 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Syrup Light
  • 2 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons CÓCOES Organic Coconut Flower Aminos
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 large clove garlic, finely minced

For the salad:

  • 1 cup lettuce
  • ¼ cup purple cabbage
  • 5 cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
  • ¼ cup corn
  • Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/3 cup shredded crab sticks
  • Microgreens
  • Edible flowers
  • Nori sheets
  1. In a bowl, mix Japanese mayonnaise, roasted sesame seeds (ground), CÓCOES Syrup, CÓCOES Vinegar, CÓCOES Aminos, sesame oil and minced garlic. Set aside.
  2.  Season the tuna with CÓCOES Aminos, add freshly ground pepper.
  3.  Coat the tuna evenly with sesame seeds on all sides.
  4. Heat oil, sear tuna until white sesame seeds turns brown. Slice the tuna half-inch thick. 
  5. Mix all the ingredients for the salad, add more dressing and garnish with edible flowers. Enjoy!
